We were rather surprised to hear that we were going to be eating in a tomb.... described as a Cave!! Wasn't initially appealing!
However we were willing to be entertained!
It was amazing! It was part of the Petra Guesthouse.......
Which had plants growing.......downwards!

It also has a great bar area.......which is not dry!!
The burial nooks were now ready to have living occupants!
I thought it might be spooky.... but it definitely wasn't!
On either side there were covered dining areas........

If I were to return I would be very tempted to stay in the Petra Guesthouse......I like how they essentially incorporated the tomb as a restaurant with a view! And it is right by the visitor's entrance!
