We returned to La Paz to check it out............
First by checking out their Mi Teleferico system...... we started on their Yellow line....all lines are color coded!
Amazing views of the city!
Then on to their Silver ones.......
... with more amazing views.....
Then we changed to the Red line.... and had a look at the amazing views from the ground!
At 4095 meters!
Then a changeover to the Orange line... to get to the downtown area.........
The historic colonial downtown was charming.........
The main Plaza Murillo has government buildings on 2 sides.....old buildings with extremely modern buildings added behind them! They looked a bit bizarre!
Then on to the Witches market!
That evening we tried the Gustu restaurant...
This is # 23 on the top 50 restaurants in South America. The restaurant was opened by a co- founder of Noma in Copenhagen!
The tasting menu was amazing!
