To get a different perspective of the Luxor temples we went to Luxor temple in the evening...to see it lit up..
We arrived at dusk......
This was absolutely amazing......

Entering through the initial entry pylon one sees ... in this photo on the right... a door bordered in red...... which was once upon a time the entry door to a Mosque, before excavation of the accumulated rubble!
The figures were colossal....
There used to be 2 obelisks......however the missing one, the Luxor Obelisk, was given to France and is placed in the Place de la Concorde in Paris.....
