On arrival in Aswan we checked into the second boat of our trip..... shown in the background!
and after lunch went for a ride in a felucca.......
I had wanted to have afternoon tea in the Legend Old Cataract hotel where Agatha Christie wrote Death on the Nile. But I had to settle for looking up at it from the Nile...her room was the one with 3 windows and a large balcony on the middle floor!
We were serenaded on the way back to the boat!
The evening view from the boat was also very interesting.......

We set off early next morning ...... and I have to admit I skipped getting up at 6am to check out another temple...... but I did get off the boat to see the afternoon one.... Kom Ombo
This didn't involve getting on another small boat... it was inland .....but it did involve going in a horse drawn carriage.......
This enabled one to see small non tourist town and its traffic problems!
The interior was a maze of large columns......
No problem getting a ride back to the boat.....
