Before docking in Punta Arenas we spent a morning on an island , Magdalena, where the only inhabitants are penguins! It was a change from glaciers!
They were quite noisy!
They had no fear and often crossed the path right in front to us. It is their island!
Lots made their way to the water to hang out or to bathe.
They live in underground nests/burrows.......
Initially thought this was going to be a fight.......but ended as being friends!
