Venice continued...............

We decided going up and down  the Grand Canal  was to be recommended....... sitting and viewing..no effort involved!! But before going on a vaporetto we checked out St Mark's Square........

And thought about getting a few masks.......

but continued on to view the gondelas..

And then checked out the beautiful Palazzos and the traffic on the Grand Canal........

And even noticed a gondola entering a no- entry canal......

We then decided on having a lunch off the beaten track...........

The food was good....... however I am not sure I would recommend the route we had to take to get there (and including getting lost)!!  But we did get to see some nice canal views...

And got to visit a great bookstore....................................old books in old gondolas!!

With the odd cat or two.........

 We finished the day by visiting the Children's Bienale.....

And of course the cafe there   .........

And got to see a sunset before we returned to our apartment........
